Because a part of me doubted that this would be good or could bring anything new or solid to the table. Not the case here! My ID is Gangnam Beauty has truly blown me away. I am so surprised how amazing My ID is Gangnam Beauty has been! Normally a show stumbles off from the start or by episode 4 maybe has lost some of it's steam. Showing her dad that she's still his daughter, but now she's hiding her face for him. Mi Rae's choice to take those pictures like she used to hiding her face from the camera. So far we know that he's upset that they just did it. I get that he thought she was beautiful through and through. I think the issue is that we don't know how much he knew about her being bullied and how hard school was. I'm still baffled by Mi Rae's dad pouting. Also, I hope it's a gross exaggeration about all those guys coming running to see if Soo Ah was hurt. I think she's sloppy, or the director is, there should be a cut in her jeans. There's more to her and I hope we get to explore that so she's not just a beautiful villainess. So despite my worry this is still a super solid show! Soo Ah is very crafty and sneaky. Because I think My ID is Gangnam Beauty has way more to it then just being standard. I just how there's more to the mom story than her just being ambitious and having a mental break. However, I'm still captivated by the story. Things are slowing down as many more character sand plot lines connect. However, I do know that such close ties can sometimes be awesome when done right. Especially since there's already a connection to Mi Rae idolizing her for working in the perfume industry and the work she's done. It was briefly brought up here and there, but connecting her savior to Kyung Suk's mom is an interesting turn. Where every aspect of this drama is starting to connect. 7/10 - We're entering dangerous territory.
